The festival is expecting to welcome about 50 guests from Bulgaria and abroad for its anniversary. We expect as official visiting guests directors of the most prestigious tour film festival in Cannes and Berlin, film producers from all over the world, representatives of embassies and foreign missions to Bulgaria, tourism experts from Bulgarian municipalities, representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Energy, the National Film Center, the Association of Bulgarian Tour-operators and Tour Agencies. In its program the festival has included interesting screenings and events for the large audience from the country and Veliko Tarnovo. All festival screenings provide free access.

The module “Film memories”, organized in the Melon club will show two documentaries of cultural and historical topics from the 70s and the 80s of the past century and will meet the audience with their makers.

In the “Cinema and the city” module we invite everybody to watch the comedy “The old coin” from 1965, presenting the Bulgarian Black sea coast by that time, as well as “The island” – a contemporary movie, directed by Kamen Kalev about “St. Anastasia” island. The spectators will be presented the newest tourist product, that will have its premier in the forthcoming summer season in Burgas – a boat trip to the island.

The module “Special film collection” is aimed to gather in the Hedgehog art club on the Samovodska charshia street admirers of documentaries for art and culture.

The award is in compliance with the festival’s spirit and is connected with travelling – a splendid 6-day tour for two to the Greek islands of Santorini, provided by our friends from Elfy Tours, who offer complex tourist services in Bulgaria and abroad for more than 15 years already. One lucky visitor to our festival projections who registers is going to win the dreamed trip.

For 10th consequent year in Veliko Tarnovo in the days between 10 and 13 of April the International Tourism Film Festival – Bulgaria “On The East Coast Of Europe” will take place. Unique for Bulgaria, the festival is close to graduating into an international event of world importance. Since 2005 till nowadays the Festival was developing as the only film festival of tourism thematic in Bulgaria. It is organized along with the International exhibition “Cultural Tourism”, Veliko Tarnovo. The two events have been mutually beneficial and flourishing as a result of successful partnership. The forum has become a meeting point of film companies, producers and art teams of film productions, film directors and other artistic representatives with managers from tourism sector and investors in tourism activities.
